Cancellation Policy

Visuals By Dye – Photography Policy At Visuals By Dye, we are honored to capture the moments that matter most to you. To ensure clarity, professionalism, and mutual respect, the following policies are in place for all photography and videography services. Booking & Payment A non-refundable $50 deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your session. The deposit is applied toward your total session cost. Your session is not confirmed until the deposit has been received. The remaining balance is due on or before the day of the shoot. Ethical Guidelines Respect for Privacy We are committed to protecting the privacy of all individuals. Informed consent will always be obtained before photographing people, particularly in non-public spaces or private settings. Cultural Sensitivity We strive to respect the cultural values and practices of all clients and communities we serve. We ask clients to inform us in advance of any specific customs or guidelines we should be aware of. Honesty & Accuracy Visuals By Dye is dedicated to authentic storytelling. We aim to present truthful and respectful representations in our work, avoiding misleading or heavily manipulated imagery unless clearly communicated for artistic purposes. Environmental Responsibility – "Leave No Trace" When photographing in natural or outdoor environments, we take care to leave the space as we found it, minimizing impact on wildlife and surroundings. We encourage clients to do the same during shoots. Legal Considerations Copyright Visuals By Dye retains copyright to all images and video content produced. Clients receive usage rights for personal or agreed-upon commercial use. Reproduction, resale, or third-party distribution without permission is prohibited. Model Releases For all sessions involving individuals—especially if content is to be used for promotional or commercial purposes—a signed model release form is required. Defamation Awareness We are careful in ensuring that our content does not misrepresent, alter, or portray individuals in a false light. We avoid any use of imagery that may be construed as defamatory or damaging. First Amendment Protection As a creative business, Visuals By Dye operates within the legal protections of the First Amendment.
